No Thanks

But thanks.

We got Lula’s ashes back yesterday. Tomorrow, it’s Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for the time I had with Lula. I don’t care if it’s greedy to have wanted more. She was in pain. It was well past time to let her move on to whatever it is she moved on to. But, if I could have had forever with her, and she could be in that forever without that pain – man – I would give anything for that.

Cindy, once again did the hard part. This time without a hint she was doing it. While out “doing an errand” she stopped by our vet to pick Lula up.

Lula was a gift that I never fully appreciated until she was gone. What a cliche. It stings though. It’s paralyzing.
